Teacher's Mini grants

The CGHS PTSA Mini Grant Program hopes to fund teachers' dream projects to enhance the learning environment here at Gables. Mini Grant funding is primarily used for funding projects which will have a direct impact on education and learning in your classroom or in the greater school community. Projects can range from creative initiatives, books and supplies to program enhancement. You dream it, we aim to fund it! 

Remember, teachers must be current PTSA members in order to qualify for a Mini Grant. PTSA memberships can be initiated or renewed at the link below.

The Garden

The PTSA funds many projects funds many projects around the campus.  Funds go directly to support teachers, to support programs such as the annual College Tour and to help clubs such as the Garden Club get started (that is the Garden Club's handy work to the right.)

Picnic Tables

Last year the PTSA and Friends of Gables High contributed $20,000 for 18 new metal picnic tables and the refurbishment of the student courtyard garden.
